Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is going all out As we are getting closer to the Galaxy S22 Ultra Unpacked Event which will most likely take place on the 8th of February, we’re starting to get more and more information about the handset. With the information we heard so far, it’s clear that Samsung is going all out with the Galaxy S22 family this year merging the S and Note series to give us the best possible flagship for 2022 without making any sacrifices. Today we have more information about the Galaxy S22 Ultra that spills a lot of good
news especially if you take more photos. You might have known already that the camera hardware of the S22 Ultra remains unchanged compared to the S21 Ultra but that doesn’t mean they can’t improve the camera performance through optimization. Camera hardware is important but to a certain degree, Software plays an even important role in determining the quality of images and videos. And that’s what Samsung is focusing on with the S22 Ultra and according to Ice Universe, we will see a significant improvement in the photos taken by the handset. In his words, the camera of the S22 Ultra is very very strong and could end up being the best camera smartphone we’ve ever seen so far. To give you more context, he’s referring to the main 108MP sensor. A few weeks ago we got details that there will be a new mode called detail enhancer with the main 108MP camera, we didn’t know at the time what this actually meant but that changes today. Apparently, this is an artificial intelligence-powered image quality
enhancement mode and will result in better details, colors, and brightness. Ice Universe has actual camera samples from the S22 Ultra but he can’t share that now to protect his source. Interestingly a South Korean website has found some software codes which confirm that this detail enhancer mode actually exists for the S22 Ultra. Not only that they have also discovered that under this mode you can take better macro photos which should let you take detailed close-up photographs. This will remain exclusive to the S22 Ultra which means the other S22 models will not get this feature. But it’s a high probability that the older models which have 108MP cameras can actually get this detail enhancer feature with a software update. We’ll have to wait and see whether or not Samsung brings it to the older devices. Anyway, it’s not just the main camera that is being heavily optimized but the telephoto cameras as well. If you don’t know, Samsung is using new telephoto sensors for both 3x and 10x zoom and despite the specifications
of these new sensors being lower than the S21 Ultra, the photo quality is going to be actually improved which again shows that it’s more about the software than the hardware. Moving on, we know that green is one of the color options of the S22 Ultra but what we don’t know is exactly what shade of green is the handset. Well, according to Ice Universe it’s going to be like this. Letsgodigital quickly made renders based on this information and to be honest, the handset looks amazing in this color. For the first time ever since they introduced the Ultra variant, Samsung has finally got the colors right for the handset. All 4 colors look absolutely amazing. People who’re interested in this device will surely have a tough time choosing which color they want to go for. Of course, do consider subscribing for all the latest S22 updates
